Adjacent Angles

A pair of angles which have a common vertex, common arm and the non common arm is on the opposite side of the common arm are called adjacent angles.

Two angles are Adjacent when they have a common side and a common vertex (corner point) and don't overlap. Angle ABC is adjacent to angle CBD. Because: they have a common side (line CB) they have a common vertex (point B). adjacent angles
